This website is our notebook. It's just a collection of information we've come across or developed during years in the industry. None of it has been validated, some may be simplified, obsolete or just plain wrong.

So much information we read on forumsjust isn't true. If you spend money buying modified parts and put your, or worse still our, lives at risk using incorrectly specified parts that's very foolish, to say the least... Please don't build a system based on information found here. If you do, forget where you got the information from very quickly. Validate your own calculations and thoroughly test before putting into service.

Feel free to use anything you find here but don't reference the site as the definitive source because it may well be rubbish. In fact we've probably put in a few deliberate mistakes to keep you on your toes.
By the way, when you read about manufacturers patented technology, go and search for the patent. Usually you can't find it or if you can, the claims are vastly different to the marketing departments view or the world. Big OEM manufacturers are the worst. The expression, "nothing new under the sun" is almost right.
